Sion Multimedia is the first 100% Congolese owned converged communications network operator.

The company aims is to reduce the cost of doing business by enhancing the operational efficiencies of companies through the optimal use of new communications technologies and infrastructure sharing.

Our license authorizes a large portfolio of services essentially based on TV and video but also in limited data and voice. That’s aligning us as terrestrial carrier: reselling capacities trough our backbones in fiber optic and microwaves, Contents provider for 3G mobile operators and as Content Delivery Network for residential customers.

We developed a division specialized in e-business, providing integrated solutions for e-commerce, web application development, e-payment integration for banking and financial institutions.

The structure is organized to support these 3 types of service: Infrastructure, Multimedia services and E-business systems integration.

- Infrastructure Division : which is managing backbones (fiber optic, microwaves) and core systems to support multimedia access networks

- Multimedia Access Division: Providing Content Delivery System and TV services through IP wireless and 3G mobile networks.

- E-Business Division: Providing support and systems integration for IT systems (Network, Datacenter, storage systems etc.), Loyalty systems, Security systems, e-business solutions as e-government, e-commerce, e-procurement, e-payment etc.

Sion Multimedia was created in 2008 with the strategy of developing E-business, electronic money systems integrations, multimedia applications over the fiber optic backbone, allowing Telecoms operators; Internet services providers, corporate companies and residential customers having a low cost and good quality services for Voice, Data and video.

Sion Multimedia is one of the five Sion Holdings companies operating in Africa in five different areas: Mining, Airlines, Logistics, Trading and Multimedia.

Currently located in Democratic Republic of Congo, Sion Multimedia has the ambition to extend his activities in other African countries as Congo B, Gabon etc.
